Neurodivergent People
Tailored strategies for schools, businesses and families to create environments where neurodivergent people can thrive
Hi, I’m Lisa Brennan, and I’m so glad you’re here.
I run Neurodivergent People – Education & Inclusion Consultancy, where I help schools, organisations, and families create environments that truly work for neurodivergent people.
Whether you’re a headteacher trying to make your school more inclusive, a manager looking to support your team better, or a neurodivergent adult trying to navigate a system that wasn’t built for you; you’re in the right place.
This work is personal for me. I’m a late-diagnosed autistic adult, parent to two autistic children, and I’ve spent more than two decades teaching, training, and advocating for equity in education and the workplace. I blend professional expertise with lived experience to offer practical, meaningful support that meets people where they are.

Great question! You've got options, but here’s what makes us at Neurodivergent People different and why our clients choose to work with us.
Inclusion isn’t just about policies; it’s about people.
I offer clear, actionable advice and support that’s rooted in empathy, not judgment.
Whether you're navigating school systems, workplace adjustments, or family advocacy, you’ll get guidance that respects your context and capacity.
This isn’t theory; it’s lived reality. I am a late-diagnosed autistic & ADHD adult, parent to AuDHD children, and partner to an autistic spouse, with dyslexia, DCD and more in the family mix. I understand the daily challenges neurodivergent people face, because I live them too.
At the same time, I bring over 20 years of professional experience in education, training, and inclusion. I know the systems from the inside, and I know how to help you make them better.
No jargon. No shame. No one-size-fits-all.
Every individual is different. Every setting is different. I take the time to understand your needs and work with you to find solutions that actually fit, not just tick boxes.
This is a neurodiversity-affirming space.
I don’t see neurodivergence as something broken to be fixed. I see it as part of human diversity. That philosophy is woven into everything I do.
I’ve spent over 20 years teaching, training, and supporting learners and professionals across a wide range of settings, from early years to adult education, and from classrooms to corporate teams.
I hold a Master’s in Education, along with a Diploma in Teaching from Cambridge, and I am committed to my own continual professional development.
I don’t just understand inclusion from a lived perspective. I also know how to teach it, embed it, and make it stick.
This isn’t about surface-level inclusion.
I work with people who are ready to make meaningful, lasting improvements; in policy, in practice, and in culture.
